Building Surveying Associates Design Brief
BSA's principals were looking to increase their accessibility to potential customers looking for the services they offer on the internet. The design grew from a series of email interchanges based on a small brochure outlining their services.
About the Building Surveying Associates site
Given the nature of surveyors, they are never in the office during office hours. Not easy to hold face-to face design meetings then! Other than the small BSA brochure, the site design evolved through email interchange with the principals. Kophill created a which BSA tweaked over the first month to meet their needs. In addition to web design and hosting, BSA chose the Kophill web promotion service to appear high up in UK search engines.
Philip J Cooper CBS
About Philip J Cooper CBS
Philip Cooper obtained his Degree in Building Surveying at Leicester in 1981. He was qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1983 and has worked continuously in Private Practice for over 20 years in the Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire areas and been self-employed for the past 10 years.
"One problem in today's society is the lack of support and sincere help which we endeavour to counteract as part of our policy", he states. He takes a great interest in the work and is proud of the service offered - especially enjoying meeting up with clients to discuss findings of the inspections carried out and to give advice on improvements or possible extensions.
Philip J Cooper Design Brief
Philip Cooper's design brief was simple;
"I do not want a lot of blurb, I envisage online forms with check-boxes making it easy for customers to convey their needs to me accurately,
allowing me a more focussed response".
About the Philip J Cooper site
Philip provided us with his bio and examples of how he would like the forms laid out, which he typed in using a word processor. Working off these sheets of paper, we created the web site you see today. Philip did not want any complex database work, but simply wanted the forms emailed back to him. As well as hosting and design, he took advantage of our web promotion service. Philip recently commented that having a web presence significantly boosted his revenues in the last operating year by allowing potential customers from around the world to find him easily.
